To deal with the large amount of unsolicited email ("spam" or "junk
mail") that most people have to cope with, please make sure to setup your junk filter accordingly:
For Mozilla Thunderbird-Users:
Open-source email app Mozilla Thunderbird includes highly efficient spam
filters using Bayesian statistical analysis. After a bit of training,
its spam detection rate is stellar, and false positives are practically
nonexistent. If you don't like spam in your Mozilla Thunderbird inbox,
turn on the junk mail filter.
Mail can filter junk mail from your inbox, based on what it learns from
you when you mark email messages as junk or not junk and the settings in
Junk Mail settings.
