How do I set up an alias (Thunderbird / Webmail)?
Setting up an alias in Thunderbird
Using an additional identity (alias) in Thunderbird
When you set up an account, an ‘identity’ is created for the account by default, containing information such as your name, email address, the location where you want your messages to be stored, your signature, etc. You can manually create additional identities for your account (via {{MenuPath|Tools ➔ Account Settings ➔ %account_name% ➔ More Identities...}}). When you compose or reply to a message, you can use one of the identities that you have previously set up by selecting it from the ‘From’ drop-down list.
Step 1
Right-click on your account -> Click on ‘Settings’.
Step 2
Click on ‘Additional identities...’ at the bottom.
Step 3
Click on ‘Add...’.
Step 4
Fill in the fields as shown in the image and click on ‘OK’.
Step 5
Click on ‘Close’.
Now you can select your other alias as the sender address when composing a new email under ‘From:’.
