Setup Easyroam

    Prepare your self-service user ID and password. You will need these to log in to Eduroam.  Eduroam profiles are valid for 1 year.
    After that, you will need to renew your profile.


    Go to https://www.easyroam.de.

    Look for HFBK in the list of universities.This will take you to the HFBK registration page.

    Please use your self-service ID and password to log in.




    After visiting the page https://www.easyroam.de and authorization via  DFN-AAI IdP, you will be directed to the following page:

    Here you can create an Eduroam account for different devices, create profiles and manage them.

    Manage accounts
    If you click on "Manage Account", Eduroam users will be redirected to the administration menu for the access certificates.
    Here you can see the serial number of the certificate and the duration of the certificate. If a certificate is revoked, it will be added to the revocation list and subsequently rejected by the RADIUS server when the CRL is updated. If the profile/certificate is revoked, it will be blocked on the RADIUS server within 24 hours.
    Eduroam profiles are valid for 1 year. In the "Manage access" section, under "More information" and "Expiration time and date (UTC):", it is possible to download an ICAL file for the common calendar applications on the end devices. Normally, you will be reminded to update your eduroam profile at least 1 week and no more than 1 day before it expires.

    It is recommended that you freely edit the names of the eduroam profiles by clicking on the pen so that the eduroam profiles can be assigned to the various end devices.
